I've been a customer for over a year now. I used to go to City Looks but it closed and my stylist went to Trumps. I followed her there - once- it is an assembly line shop! Then I found Origina! Although the stylist I was accustomed to has moved on, I have to tell you I have always been happy with my cut n camo EACH time; and my friends and co-workers (even the men) compliment me on my hair. Recently, there has been some turn over with the stylists; and after I booked my upcoming appointment, I received a coupon for my upcoming service for the inconvenience! What great service recovery strategy!

I have been going to Origina for the past 3 years and they are incredible. They give great cuts without charging the outlandish rates of hoity-toity salons. When I got married, I decided to let them do my hair for the big day. WOW! They did a fantastic job. Jeremy (who sadly is no longer there) put it up exactly how I wanted it, and put the pins in such a way that I actually did not get a headache, and the hair lasted 10 hours without moving. All my bridesmaids got their hair done, too, and all of their hair stayed up and in place as long as mine did. The stylists all did what we wanted them to do and the costs ranged from $25 - $40 depending on the stylist. I haven't found that talent at that price anywhere. I would recommend them to anyone.

We moved here from a Big City and have been looking for a decent hair stylist for awhile. I did expect just a little more from this salon for the prices they charge. I heard the front desk girls ask another customer if she wanted something to drink but was a little disappointed that they did not offer me the same consideration. The girl that cut my hair did a good job (even though my hair is alittle uneven). She listened to what I wanted and was very good about also giving me her input (which showed me she understood what I wanted). When she combed out my hair (long) she asked if I was tender headed. Since she did not use a detangler as ALL other stylists do AND did not comb starting from the bottom first (as PROFESSIONALS recommend)..it WAS rather uncomfortable. She VERY much pushed their products (which did not offend me...I should have expected, with this type of salon) by telling me every product she was using on me and that she would recommend what I should use in the future and that she would show me what I could purchase (which she did). I like my cut (just went short with long layers) but have not decided if I will return to this salon or not. I will probably return because the issues were ONLY minor, but again, I would have expected just a little BETTER with a salon that charges high end salon prices. Maybe the stylist will get more experienced the longer she is doing it.

I have been a client of Origina for almost two years, when I first moved to Nashville I tried many salon's and had many tears. I was then referred to Origina and Lawsen. I no longer have tears when I get my hair done. If you need great color, Lawsen is a color genius! origina is great all around! Everyone is always friendly and helpful in a very relaxing enviroment.

When I moved here from Texas, it was impossible for me to find a stylist that could cut my hair the way i liked it. I tried 4 other salons and was about to give up when a neighbor told me about Origina. So I made an appointment and when I got there the service was incredible! The whole staff was so friendly and so sweet, I was impressed. The stylist they put me with was just amazing! She knew exactly what i was saying and it turned out way better than i'd expected!! I would highly recommend Origina for anyone who is looking for a new stylist.
