Shocking Experience!

Posted by r.billy on 1/21/2009

I had recently moved to Franklin and needed a place to board my dog. I found this place online and decided to do a tour. When I went it was a nice facility but it didn't have anything extra to offer for the price. I decided to go ahead and make reservations. When I went to drop my dog off I observed a lady with two dogs at the house that seemed to be on the property. I noticed one of the dogs put something in its mouth. I then watched as the lady began to hit the dog several times. This was very upsetting to me so I went in and asked if that house had anything to do with the facility. I then found out that THE OWNER LIVED THERE!!! I was so upset about this that I cancelled my trip and am horrified to take my dogs anywhere. Now when I travel I find hotels that allow dogs.

Best Facility I have ever seen!!!!

This is the most awesome place to board. We don't have a dog, we have a baby girl and at The Farm, was treated just like one. She had never been boarded until last November when we left her at The Farm. She did great and so did the staff! Knowing that she was scared, they really focused on making her comfortable and give her a safe feeling. She absolutely loved the TV and daily walks. When we had to leave her last week, we did not hesitate to take her to The Farm. They were so ready for her, they had all the notes from her previous stay of her likes and dislikes and needs. Every time that we called to check on her, they went to actually look at her and see what she was doing and read her charts to see what the handlers had noted. We even recieved an email (Thanks to Karen) from our baby with pictures and a note from her while we were gone. The farm may be pricey to some, but to us it is worth every dollar to ensure the safety and happiness of our baby. I have yet to meet anyone associated with The farm that is not courteous, helpful and friendly. They are all so good with animals and all their quirks - they know what they are doing and know their stuff. I can not say enough good about this facility. They are the best!

Boarders Beware

Extremely Overpriced!!! I boarded my pets there once, and will never go again! When I went to pick them up, my bill was almost $300. more than I was quoted when I dropped them off. The staff seemed too inexperienced. Your basically doing business with a bunch of children. When you quote a price you should honor it! And its crazy that you should have to pay extra for them to even feed your pet while they are there...AND... if you want your pet to be let out of their room to exercise at all, guess what, It costs extra!! This is the part they forgot to tell me about. There are several boarding/daycare facilities in the area that offer way more than this for about half the cost. I can't see where my pets were treated any better than any other daycare that we have used in the past, we just paid twice as much as we usually do. Please, do your research!!

Avg service but way overpriced

$52 a night is a little rediculous, the dogs are taken care of but nothing out of the norm or exciting.

We are new to the area and Needed to Board our Dog.The other kennels we called were full.Horrible Experience,Rude Staff,Very Young, If I trusted Children I could have payed much less than over $50 a Night, and all extras were very costly. They did not return our unused pet food Measured out by our Vet.and our Dog came home with sore feet,We had to take him to the Vet. for care. Not Recommended
